Axel Naeyaert studied in Namen and Leuven and continued with a post-graduate study of European Law at the Europa-Institut in Saarbrucken in Germany.
Since 1996 he has been a member of the Bar Association of Antwerp and has been a partner with Vobis since 2016.
Intellectual property rights and company law in general are Axel’s expertise. As an experienced and driven litigator he takes on often complex disputes on behalf of creative and innovative businesses.
Axel also represents his clients internationally when they are confronted with legal problems or disputes abroad or with a foreign partner. He speaks and writes fluent English, French and German.
He is an active member of the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design law (BMM), as well as AIPPI and Eurojuris International. In addition, since 2018 he has been the chairman of Eurojuris Belgium.
